Hi
Is anyone on here bidding on this?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Einstein-ass ... 635-2958-0
Am happy to bid and hopefully (eventually) scan - I can’t find a PDF of it on line.

Thanks for your post confirming your auction bid for this very rare book. I didn't bid myself, but I see the auction attracted significant bids because this copy of the book seems to be only one in existence!
From what I can deduce from the few photos in the listing it seems similar in layout and scope to the Amstrad Assembly Language Course also published by Glentop.
I'm intrigued to know to what extent the text reveals the inner workings of the Einstein. Does the book contain illuminating Einstein specific information or is the material more generic Z80?

When it arrives I will post some details.
I would volunteer to scan it but that could take months…
If anyone fancies a go? I know it will pretty much destroy this copy but it is better preserved digitally.

Very interesting to have this detail. Thanks for the photos.
The full list of MCAL routines is listed in Albert Revealed (see Section 2) so thankfully it does look as if the information is also available elsewhere ...
I've not used any of these calls directly in any code I've written as yet, so clearly that's what I shall be doing next

I shall endeavour to scan this but it will take some time. I have a ZX80 Companion to do first and this one looks to have a lot of pages!
But no page numbers - I hate these section / chapter based books!!! It so easy to find Section A4-2.

Instead of flat bed scanning, just do a photo with a good camera or phone. I've done this for a number of things, it makes for a perfectly good readable scan.
