Tatung Monitor questions

Hello all!

I just got a monitor which at the moment is showing a lovely green screen using an 80 column card.

It doesn’t have a model number though. I suspect the panel where it should be is missing?

It still needs a good clean…

Should the model number be on the back?

I assume it also does colour if I get the correct lead?

Any idea what should be in this gap? If anything?

Based on another post on here any idea if this is the correct lead to plug in the tatty without the 80 col card?

Also as an aside would I be able to plug a BBC micro into the bottom RGB TTL socket?

Thanks!

I found a picture of a monitor that looks like mine:

So mine is missing the on / off switch and its a TM-01 by the looks of it.

This looks like the same monitor I picked up the other day. I can only find the service manual online but it seems the top socket accepts YUV or RGB and will internally switch to RGB if it detects sync on pin 4.

So it should be possible to get a better picture out of it by just setting the jumpers inside the Einstein to RGB and it'll all just continue to work.
