That was my doing!
I had 2, a faulty one and this good one. Both sold within 30 mins of being listed!
I bought them from someone who contacted me directly through my web site. Sadly she was clearing out the loft after her husband had died. She was going to throw them at the tip, so I offered her many pennies for them, some books, mags and a ZX Spectrum and Interface 1. Sadly one of the Einsteins 'Went pop' (her words) when she turned it on!
This is a good machine with twin drives and full manual set. Everything seems to work fine on it.
The buyer has got a bargain indeed as the only other 2 on eBay at the moment are ridiculously priced! :O
Trying to source more machines from none collectors, so I can refurb them and offer on to those who will appreciate them!
Regards
Mike.
Note: I am still working on scanning my documentation and newsletters, but even with the Christmas break, I do not have enough hours in the day

I cam very close to buying it. I would have definitely done so if I had not just bought an 80 column card.

One in London. Collection only with a monitor. I asked the seller and he said he would post the computer on its own but then guilt would rampage about the monitor!
Nothing to do with me.

As many as four TC01s currently for sale ranging in price from £75 to £250. A larger number than usual!
So tempting at £75 (I'd like a Tatung monitor), but how can I justify collecting another Einstein when I already have two TC01s and a 256?
Just wondered if any other enthusiast has actually collected four (or more!) Einsteins?

Just two here! The Tatung monitor I have is really nice.
It actually makes my Apple IIe usable!

I noticed that one of the Einsteins currently on eBay is the next machine number along from one I sold at Christmas time. 6034498 is on eBay at the moment and I sold 6034497.
What are the chances of that happening, and that both machines (Probably originally available from the sale outlet) would still be working??
Very close to the end of the production run.
