I've currently got one of these connected to an external drive case and plugged in externally. I'd like to keep at least one floppy drive, I need some way of backing up all these discs! I've tried it without the 2nd internal drive, and a load of dip switch settings (mine has the dipswitches rather than jumpers). Is anyone using one of these with a floppy drive too?
To sum up my history with the hxc, I've never liked it since the day I bought it and I want to smash the fookin thing up!

Re: HXC Floppy Drive help
My FlashFloppy version works a treat, although some times, it wont write to the .DSK image for some reason.
I have a dual 5.25" floppy drive unit arriving in May and I aim to get the contents off of the 50+ 5.25" disks that I have on to some blank flashfloppy .dsk images.
Hopefully there is some good stuff on these disks?
Mike.
