TM-01 question

Has anyone got any experience with the TM-01's colour decoder card? The monitor works fine in RGB but when I run the TC-01 with YUV, all I get is a single colour. I've had all the CMOS logic off the board and it checks out fine and the caps seem fine. I did replace a few main board capacitors and did a basic alignment so the voltage levels are more reasonable, it's in focus and the display not so bright.

It works as an RGB monitor and I'm happy to use it that way but it would be nice though to be able to run in YUV mode. Any pointers where I should be looking would be most welcome.

Hmm i don’t think I’ve used one in YUV mode

As far as I could see, the TC-01 was shipped for YUV output and the monitor should have worked straight away using the original monitor cable. When I configure for RGB by flipping the links, the monitor works as expected. I will break out the scope and have another look at the monitor at the weekend.

Yes everyone I’ve had has been set for YUV but I’ve always switched them so a scart lead would work
