Potential good news folks, Tony Brewer, creator of the Speculator asked me on the Memorum forum (Memotech MTX forum), to post this:

I joined the Tatung forum but I've been waiting a couple of days to be approved so I can't login. I might have some Einstein Speculator boards. Perhaps you could mention both points on the forum for me? Thanks.

Even if we can't/don't build them, we should be able to see how the board is constructed and reverse engineer a newer version?

Well, I can't speak for Tony but he's joined this forum with aim of getting in touch with Speculator (would-be) users, so hopefully something positive comes of these interactions.
Ok, Tony tells me he's still waiting for approval and that he has Silicon disc boards to shift.
I've PM'd vanpeebles and robheaton, are there other admins that can approve his join request?
Edit: seems only those two are admins. I've also messaged vanpeebles via Bordersdown forum where he is a member but hasn't visited there for a while.
Edit2: also commented on an Einstein 256 video on his youtube channel asking him to check here. Maybe it will work, (like the bat-signal in the Arctic Circle in August )
Hello, I designed and made the Einstein Speculator (based on my Memotech MTX Speculator) and the Silicon Disc. I think I have a few Speculator boards and I know I have lots of bare Silicon Disc PCBs. All my Einstein stuff is packed away in boxes and it might take a day or two to extract it.
