Right. Same issue that I've seen elsewhere.
Hopefully I'll have some more clues after the weekend.
Thanks for doing that.

I have made a leap forward with my einsDein issues.
Mine basically would switch on and be ignored 99% of the time.
I removed the EPROM, blatted the socket with IPA and cycled insert the chip a couple of times.
I now get this at each boot up:
- CE66DCDC-F979-4F84-8FD1-12DCDDC8F864.jpeg (2.57 MiB) Viewed 9724 times
If I am fast I can switch to drive 3 and boot BBC BASIC. shortly after (less than a minute) it becomes unusable again. It is acting like something is getting warm and causing issues. But what can get that warm in less than a minute? Certainly none of the chips feel warm.
Investigations continue...

I *think* I have a solution for my problems although I don’t have an explanation as to why it works.
I got an 80 column card today and when plugged into the back of it my einSDein works fine and continued to do so for about 10 mins of testing.
Somehow the 80 column card being in between the TC01 and einSDein seems to stop whatever issue was arising.
Any explanations as to why would be of great interest!
